In this four-hour session, I will provide instruction on utilizing fundamental camera settings and understanding their impact on your captured images. We will begin with a brief one-on-one tutorial tailored to your specific camera, ensuring that all processes and techniques are customized to your equipment. Following this introduction, we will spend a few hours in the field practicing photography and capturing images. The final thirty minutes will be dedicated to a tutorial on basic processing using Photoshop or Lightroom.  Throughout the session, I encourage you to ask any questions you may have. I will guide you in using your camera, and you will have the opportunity to apply these techniques in real-time under my supervision. This approach in the field will enhance your learning experience beyond that of a traditional classroom setting, allowing you to develop muscle memory while receiving prompt and thorough answers to your inquiries.

This workshop is a primer for our Advanced Nature Photography Workshop.
